Wildcats 10th at Tripoli Invite
TRIPOLI — With only two wrestlers competing, Riceville finished 10th out of 11 teams at the Tripoli Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 6.
Both Will Felper, wrestling at 138, and Andrew Pridgen, at 190, finished sixth to score 10 points for the Wildcats.
Each lost in the quarterfinal round after receiving a bye with Felper pinning Sumner-Fredericksburg’s Brennen Blake in the third round consolation but dropping a close 4-3 decision in the consolation semifinal agianst Lisbon’s Ryder Meeks.
