Both the distance medley relay and the 4×400 claimed gold with Mariah Michels, Hannah Clevenger, Natalie Bork and Lila Powers in the medley, while Powers, Amelia Porisch, Kinsey Anderson and Bork ran in the final event of the night.

The Saints collected 93 points to take the team title, besting runner-up Denver with 80.

“We tell the kids they are state meet competitors and they can compete with anybody,” Baldus said. “It’s nice to see them do that, and not only compete, but actually win.”
