Mitchell fireworks, a long-standing family tradition
Mitchell, Iowa has been a fireworks destination since at least 1964, and maybe even before, when Jerome Mostek began providing fireworks for Mitchell, as well as surrounding North Iowa communities.
Celebrating their fortieth anniversary this year, Flashing Thunder Fireworks launched its official business of artfully creating an Independence Day painting in the night sky when the demand from area communities such as Clear Lake, started requesting Jerome Mostek manage their fireworks displays.
