Funeral service for Carolyn Mork will be held at 11:00 a.m. onbrFriday, June 25, 2021 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in New Haven with ReverendbrJerry Kopacek officiating. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery inbrNew Haven.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday,brJune 24, 2021 at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City and continue onebrhour before the service on Friday at the Church.

Carolyn Ann Mork, the daughter of Fred and Mae (Wallace) Johnson,brwas born on August 13, 1942 in Hammond, Missouri. She graduated from WeltonbrHigh School in 1959 and earned a business degree from AIC in Davenport. Carolynbrwas united in marriage to Robert Mork on November 9, 1962. Robert brought twobrchildren into the marriage David and Cyndi, and to this union, the couple hadbrone daughter, Debbie.

Carolyn was an office manager for several businesses includingbrMoline Paint Mfg., Bassett Bedding, and Professional Labor Relations. brCarolyn and Bob ran the Corner Roost for several years and owned and operatedbrthe New Haven Tavern, where they made many friends that became just likebrfamily. She also worked in the cafeteria at Mitchell County Regional HealthbrCenter in Osage.

Carolyn and Bob spent their family vacations up north fishingbrwhere they would join with more family for what always created life longbrmemories. Carolyn and Bob also enjoyed going gambling together. They madebrregular trips to Las Vegas and monthly trips to Red Wing. She alwaysbrcherished her family, most of all her grandchildren.

Living family members include her daughter, Debbie (Kenny) Boge;brdaughter, Cyndi (Larry) Billings; son, David (Tonya) Mork; grandchildren: Colton,brTyson, Cassidy, Tiffani, Tabatha, Jessica, and Jackie; great-grandchildren:brGenesis, Marissa, Clayton, Kinnick, Trinity, and Silas; siblings: BarbbrDunnegan, Marion O’Connell, Ed (Dixie) Johnson, and Lana Allen; sister-in-law,brNadine Mork; brother-in-law, Gary (Marilyn) Mork; along with many nieces,brnephews, and other family members.
