Osage girls win Crestwood Co-Ed

CRESCO — Osage girls track and field claimed six individual events and a pair of relays on the way to the Crestwood Co-Ed girls meet title with 169 points.

Paige Kisley was part of four winning events, taking the 100- and 400-meter hurdles and running legs on the shuttle hurdle and sprint medley relays.

Her winning times in the hurdles were 15.33 seconds and 1:07.94, respectively.

Meredith Street took the 100 and 200 sprint races and also ran the anchor leg of the winning sprint medley. Street ran to 12.83 in the 100 and 26.66 in the 200.

The shuttle hurdle relay, also including Ainsley Dodd, Claudia Aschenbrenner and Brooklynn Halbach, came through in 1:09.62. The sprint medley relay, also made up of Halbach and Aschenbrenner, came in at 1:46.75.

Other winners for the girls included Katelyn Johnson in the 3,000 and Grimm in the 800.

The Green Devil boys team was third out of six teams with 91 points. Crestwood claimed its own team title with 180 points.

Keagan Hennessey won the 3,200 in 11:13.21 for the only Osage individual victory at the meet. Runner-up finishes were had by Cole Jeffries (400) and the shuttle hurdle relay.

Riceville finished fifth in the girls field and sixth among the boys team race. Top finishes for the Wildcats were a runner-up for Josie Gansen in the 100 hurdles and the boys’
br4x800 team of JD Beran, Watson Fair, Theo Klaes and Trenton Swenson, good for third.
